Minimum Requirements
To be awarded a minor in Spanish, students must successfully complete at least 20 units.
Spanish Minor Core Requirement [4 units]
Complete the following course:
SPAN 103: Spanish Composition and Conversation
Additional Spanish Minor Requirement [16 units]
Complete four additional courses chosen from the following list. At least three must be upper division.
SPAN 050: Introduction to Hispanic Literatures
SPAN 051: Introduction to Hispanic Literatures II
SPAN 101-SPAN 189
Substitutions and waivers are subject to approval by the Foreign Language Coordinator. Students may complete only one course in English to be counted toward the minor.
