Manuel M. Martín Rodríguez is a Literature and Cultures Professor at the University of California, Merced and a permanent member of the North American Academy of the Spanish Language. He has published the following books:  P. Galindo: Obras (in)completas de José Díaz (2016), The Textual Outlaw: Reading John Rechy in the 21st Century (co-edited with Beth Hernández-Jason, 2015), Cantas a Marte y das batalla a Apolo: Cinco estudios sobre Gaspar de Villagrá (2014), With a Book in Their Hands: Chicano/a Readers and Readerships Across the Centuries (2014, winner of an International Latino Book Award in 2015), a philological edition of the work of Gaspar de Villagrá Historia de la nveva Mexico (2010), Gaspar de Villagrá: Legista, soldado y poeta (2009), Life in Search of Readers: Reading (in) Chicano/a Literature (2003), La voz urgente: Antología de literatura chicana en español (1995, 1999, y 2006), and Rolando Hinojosa y su "cronicón" chicano: Una novela del lector (1993). His articles have appeared in numerous edited volumes and specialized journals. Martín-Rodríguez belongs to numerous editorial boards and research groups, as well as to the board of directors of the two main projects on recovery of the American literary heritage. Manuel M. Martín Rodríguez es Profesor de literatura y cultura en la Universidad de California, Merced y miembro permanente de la North American Academy of Spanish Language (Academia Norteamericana de la Lengua Española). Ha publicado los siguientes libros: P.
